SBI Clerk 2026 Selection Process

The selection process generally consists of the following stages:

Stage 1 – Preliminary Examination

Candidates first appear for the online Preliminary Examination.

Stage 2 – Main Examination

Candidates who qualify/are shortlisted from the Preliminary Examination appear for the Main Examination.

Stage 3 – Local Language Proficiency Test

Candidates who are required to prove proficiency in the specified local language have to qualify in the Local Language Proficiency Test.

Stage 4 – Document Verification

The Bank verifies the candidate's documents and eligibility.

Stage 5 – Final Selection
